ER 347 Welding Wire
OVERVIEW OF ER 347 WELDING WIRE
ER 347 Welding Wire is a niobium (columbium) stabilized austenitic stainless steel filler metal, primarily used for welding AISI 347 and 321 stainless steels. The addition of niobium improves resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially after exposure to high temperatures.
ER 347 welding wire is ideal for applications involving elevated temperatures and corrosive environments, where structural integrity and weld stability are critical. It provides excellent crack resistance, good ductility, and reliable performance in post-weld heat exposure conditions.
