Cold Worked Precision Bars is one of Ambica’s
premium product lines. These super finished
precision bars are processed using the ultra-modern
combined lines & state of the art equipments. Each bar is taken through the well-controlled
heat treating furnaces and quenching tanks in order
to achieve a more reliable product with an increased
consistency in the mechanical properties. After the
cold-working process, all mechanical and
technological data is checked in reference to the
customer’s order. Ultrasonic Inspection & Eddie
Current Testing ensures that the bars are free from
any internal defects. The bars are then finished
using the specially designed finishing machines
which ensures that the size tolerances (including
the out of roundness) and surface roughness are
achieved as desired. These bars are packed using a
variety of protective materials & distance rings,
and then placed in the strong Ply-wood boxes.

Packaging
-
Each bundle of bars is packed in strong
ply-wood boxes. These boxes have been specially
designed to resist the jerks during high speed
transportation.

A strong material lifting strap is wrapped around
each bundle before placing in the wooden boxes. This
strap helps in pulling out the bundles out of box.

Material is packed in a variety of protective
packing materials, in various layers ensuring extra
protection to the bars from shipping vibrations.

Several plastic distance rings are inserted in
each bar. It helps in avoiding the surface scratches
which generate out of the bar to bar contacts,
within the bundles.
