Ambica is one of the largest producers of Bright
Bars in India. The production range includes Rounds,
Squares & Hexagons up to 15,000 tons per annum. The

Packing of Bars
Before the highly finished bars are carefully
packed, each length of bar goes through the
following processes –
-
Both ends are Color-coded, as
per the customer’s requirements
-
Ends of Bars above 30 mm are hard
stamped / punched with the Heat Number and the
Grade of the material
-
Each bar is thoroughly cleaned to
remove the oil or grease from the surface (only
in Austenitic steels)
-
A range of Plastic rings
(depending on the length of the bars) are
inserted in each bar to avoid rod to rod contact
To preserve the defect free surface of the bars
during transportation and handling, these bars are
then coupled with Signode-straps, and wrapped in Low
Density Plastic Sheets. The bundles are then again
wrapped with the High Density Bio-degradable /
Recyclable Laminated Sheets, for complete security
of the shining bars.
Wooden boxes are also provided upon request
Bundle Weight varies from 250 kgs upto 1,500 kgs, as
per the customer’s requirement.
